Abstract
Insomnia disorder has a high annual economic burden >$100 billion (B), of which ∼75% is due to indirect costs (i.e., lost productivity and accidents). This research measures indirectly the medical cost of transport (i.e., motor vehicle, motorcyclist, cyclist, pedestrian, other), home-based and public place accidents (i.e., falls) due to UCI in the US (2020 US dollar).
