Abstract

EMMY is a large-scale epidemiological study to assess the epidemiology and real-life management of multiple myeloma (MM). Healthcare resource use (HCRU) data obtained from the SNDS provide a description of the hospitalisations associated with MM management. Methods: EMMY is based on an annual retrospective collection of clinical and medical data from MM patients’ medical files in 72 participating centres since 2017. It is a dynamic cohort with the inclusion, each year, of 1000 additional patients initiating a line of treatment over a 3-month observation period.
