Abstract

A key objective of peritoneal dialysis (PD) is to achieve euvolemia. Patients undergoing automated PD (APD) are frequently fluid overloaded, while anuric APD patients with low fluid removal can have uncontrolled hypertension, left ventricular hypertrophy and worse survival. In this report, we aim to explore the correlation of fluid status in APD patients with in-home blood pressure (HBP) measurements and number of antihypertensives used.
