Abstract
The present study aims through a review of literature as philosophy influenced different areas of human knowledge, especially for Physical Education, where Portuguese Manuel Sergio proposed a optics differentiated and comprehensive perspective, through the foundation and support of scientific and philosophical being named this initiative Human Movement Science. Because of its relation to philosophy and its close relationship with the Professional Physical Education, Sergio refuted the ideals guiding of the Physical Education Conventional that was based on empirical foundation and not allowing human understanding in its totality, fact it restricted the work of these professionals. In this way, from the perspective proposed by Sergio Physical Education ought to disown this name first, since it is not possible to educate the individual's physical, and become something reductionist, requiring the understanding and development of body and mind of the individual, thus promoting a job and a way of professional revolutionary and inexistent up to that time.
