Abstract

Different angles of human life and related things to humans have been discussed in autobiographies from the start. Facts and figures of society have been portrayed through the eyes of an autobiography writer. The historians had their own point of view, and a common man or elite class man had his own point of view. The question is what is true? Perhaps the autobiographies speak the truth or the biography. Who tells the true phenomenon of the culture and norms of the society of his times? The basic requirements are authenticity, accuracy, and validity for the history. This question has been raised and discussed in this article. The true picture of society and culture must be portrayed in history. Autobiography is a source of history.
