Abstract
Extrahepatic portal vein obstruction (EHPVO) is a rare condition that usually affects young adults and is associated with risk of developing non-cirrhotic portal hypertension and portal cholangiopathy. PV recanalisation may be a suitable option in such patients to decompress the portal venous system and help treat portal hypertension and its complications.
