Abstract

This chapter reviews the literature reported during 2012 on novel porous materials for CO2 capture. The aim is to describe the key advances, focusing predominantly on high-performance CO2 capture materials with tailored macro- and micro-structures and targeted surface properties. Trends in design of various kinds of porous solids and their impact on CO2 capture are discussed.
