Abstract
Porous nickel films have been prepared using irradiation with nanosecond laser pulses, and their microstructure has been studied by transmission electron microscopy. The pores produced in the nickel films by nanosecond laser pulses are shown to be unfaceted and to be located in the grain bulk.
