Abstract

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) bypasses to the tibial and peroneal arteries, first described in 1978, are currently in disfavor as limb salvage options even when other treatments are impossible. We sought to demonstrate the achievable mid-, long-, and ultra-long-term patency and limb salvage when such bypasses were used.
