Abstract

It is known that amphoteric polymers are obtained by copolymerization of salts of unsaturated acids with unsaturated amines [1]. The behaviour of such systems in polymerization has not been studied sufficiently up to the present time. For this reason the present paper presents the results of a study of the system N,N-diethylaminoethyl methacrylate (DEAEM) (M 1) and fumaric acid (FA) (M 2), and the results of potentiometric study of the polyampholytes obtained.
