Political parties as part of the political elite of Russia at the beginning of the XX century

Abstract

The article is devoted to the beginning of the process of forming political parties as a new legal institution of a part of the political elite. The article gives an up-to-date interpretation of the term "political party". The classification of the main parties of the beginning of the XX century and their characteristics are given. The main attention is paid to the analysis of the circumstances of the creation and key events related to the history of the victorious party in the revolution of 1917 – the RSDLP (b)
