Abstract

Two X-type chromophores which nonlinearity-transparency-thermal stability trade-off has been achieved were designed and synthesized. Poling properties of guest-host polymer films of the chromophores in PMMA were investigated by using elevated temperature corona poling with in-situ SHG measurement. The results show that the orientation thermal stability of the poled films are better than that of the reported poled films in PMMA with BAPNPI and some typical II) chromophores, the reason may be due to the structure of the chromophores.
