Abstract
Given the number of overlapping and inter-connected drivers existing that shape gender gaps, a multifaceted and comprehensive framework is required to address the root causes that are in line with international labour standards. With this in mind, Chapter 3 outlines a series of policy recommendations in an effort to improve labour market outcomes among women, shaped around (i) reshaping gender role conformity and personal preferences; (ii) addressing socio-economic constraints; and (iii) raising equality in labour market conditions.
