Abstract

AbstractThe degree of bonding of Cd2+ ions in aqueous solutions of copolymers in the range 0 < [KCl] < 0,05 M was found to depend on the concentration of KCl, the content of ionogenic groups in the copolymers and the copolymer concentration. A polarographic method was developed for investigating the kinetics of the copolymerization of ionogenic monomers. The method is based on measuring the degree of bonding of Cd2+ ions to macroions in copolymerization.
