Abstract

The temperature dependence of the polarization of conduction electrons and that of the magnetization are shown not to coincide in the presence of a sharp structure in the density of states in ferromagnetic metals. This effect can explain the experimentally observed temperature anomalies of the hyperfine field on impurities in ferromagnetic matrices.
