Abstract

The field backscattered by a resistive trihedral corner is evaluated by using a physical optics model. This modified trihedral is obtained from the conventional one by substituting a metallic plate with a dielectric sheet, and presents a polarization response which makes it particularly attractive to be used in polarimetric radar systems. ©1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
