Abstract
An electrical storm of Torsade de Pointes (TdP) arrhythmias can be reproducibly induced in the anesthetized chronic AV-block (CAVB) dog by infusion of the Ikr-blocker dofetilide. Previous studies showed that these arrhythmias arise from a location with high spatial dispersion in repolarization (SDR) and are suppressed by high-rate pacing.
