Abstract

Human development is a complex process driven deep by historical, social and cultural factors, as the Historical- Cultural Theory demonstrates. From The postulates of Vigotski, Leontiev, Elkonin, great thinkers of this line of thought, we understand play as a social construction factor of learning in childhood. The aufthors also consider the acquisition of scientific concepts extremely important for child development at the moment of their insertion in school life. This text, of theoretical natures, aims to make some notes about these themes is the process of child development and their reflexes in the organization of teaching. This study unveiled the importance of understanding how the rise of the child psyche occurs and its influence on the chil´s learning and development processes in their daily and school experience.
