Abstract
Harsanyi and Selten (1988) have suggested that in any game, an equilibrium should incorporate relative importance of players. This paper investigates the consequence of that requirement combined with forward induction resulting in a refinement of Nash equilibrium which has unique outcomes whenever it exists and its existence is nondegenerate. This addresses the equilibrium selection problem of Nash equilibrium.
