Abstract

The purpose of the article. In the proposed work, topical issues of the development of the platform-network economy of Russia are considered, the role of digital platforms in the economic activity of economic entities is determined. The purpose of the research was to identify the features of the formation of the digital economy in general and the platform-network in particular, the analysis of the technical and technological base of industrial enterprises necessary for functioning in new "innovative" conditions. Materials and methods. The methodological basis of the conducted research consists of the works of Russian and foreign authors, regulatory documents regulating economic relations in the context of digitalization, regulating the activities of digital platforms. The authors of the article use general logical methods in their work, which include analysis and synthesis, classification and generalization, as well as general scientific and special methods: mathematical and statistical analysis to assess the level of digitalization of the country's industry, situational, systemic and structural-functional approaches to identify the features of digitalization development and the use of platform-network solutions in the economy, discourse analysis and secondary data analysis for reactualization of previously conducted research on the stated problem. Results. The authors of the article analyzed the level of digitalization of the economy and the use of digital platforms in the economic activities of economic entities. Conclusions. As a result of this research, the authors of the article formed conclusions regarding the main trends in the development of the digital economy and the transition to the platform-network stage. Application. The presented analysis and assessment of the main stages of the development of the country's digital economy and the transition to the platform-network stage allowed us to identify the key driving forces of the development of economic entities, which will be relevant both for economic scientists for the purpose of conducting further research, and for practitioners.
