Abstract

The search for plastic materials suitable for hot water service has gone on for several years with only partial success, because technical problems are usually overcome only at high cost. Here, a scientist at the Norwegian Building Research Institute, recounts the testing procedures which are helping to verify the appropriate service conditions for this newer material.
