Abstract
SynopsisIn this work we study the energy loss of a beam of relativistic electrons impinging on a graphene sheet under oblique incidence. Using several models for the electric conductivity of graphene, we cover a wide range of frequencies of the energy loss spectrum, from the terahertz to the ultraviolet. To describe this spectrum, we consider the contribution of electronic excitations as well as that of transition radiation.
