Abstract
A recently released growth regulator, Amchem 66-329, produces several plant responses suggestive of ethylene effects, including induction of leaf epinasty, bud break, abscission, and pineapple flowering. We find that this growth regulator is highly active in the stimulation of ethylene production in pea seedlings, and suggest that the regulation of growth is achieved through the stimulated ethylene production. 5 references, 3 figures, 1 table.
