Abstract

Thirteen years after its amalgamation into its enlarged form, the Entomological Society of America is now reaping the benefits given it by a succession of strong presidents, the most recent being the sequence Glen, Steinhaus, Carroll Smith and Bussart, culminating in the long period when Usinger took the helm. Following this Victorian age, we are now entering on what might be deemed an Edwardian age of plain sailing and productivity.
