Abstract

The desire to improve encoding quality determined a deeper analysis of the charac-teristics of speech signal and the synthesis of its precision models. This paper presents a scientific-methodological tool for assessing the tone of the speech signal and its division of jitter by the periodic and random components. Results of its use have improved the quality of the subjective perception of the speech signal by specifying the values of the pitch and established an existence of correlation of periodic jitter with the speaking person’s pulse.
