Abstract

An analysis technique for obtaining spherical harmonic coefficients from multiple particle telescopes mounted with different viewing directions on a spinning spacecraft is presented. The coefficients and their standard deviations are obtained by the method of least squares. The relation of these coefficients to physically meaningful parameters is discussed. Applications of these techniques to data from instruments on two spacecraft are illustrated.
