Abstract

This article presents materials of the 12th lecture on the subject “Theory of load-lifting, transport, construction and road equipment and facilities”. This lecture discusses the purpose and main characteristics of pipeline systems for the transportation of gas, oil, fuels, water and other continuous media, pipeline fittings, connections, compensators and other elements of pipelines. In addition, methods for calculating simple and composite pipelines are given based on the formulas of Chézy, hydraulic slope, flow module, etc.
