Abstract
For SLA-based piezoceramics, firstly in the present study, the density values after synthesis, dielectric characteristics and piezo modules were measured in comparison with reference data by the traditional process chain. The BaTiO3 ceramic density was slightly lower than in the traditional method (0.75–0.80), and the KNN ceramics had a comparable density (0.66–0.80) after SLA-based ceramic 3D printing. The 3D printed BaTiO3 and KNN ceramics samples had higher dielectric constant values and piezo modules d33 and d31 compared with ceramics made by the traditional method, despite differences in density. The promised results indicate the further possibility of improving the 3D printed ceramic parameters under the discussed SLA-based ceramic approach, including laser process parameter optimization.
