Abstract
Luminescence spectra and picisecond dedcay of J-aggregates of pseudoisocyanine (PIC) were studied in mixtures of H-aggregates of DDC and DTTD dyes on coloidal silica. Excitation energy migration from J- to H-aggregates could be described by the Förster mechanism over distances of about 30 nm in a supermolecular model.
