Abstract

The article examines the role of phytochemicals as immunomodulating agents in the prevention and treatment of melanoma. The main mechanisms of action of phytochemicals on the immune system and their impact on the development and progression of melanoma are discussed. Examples of experimental and clinical studies confirming the effectiveness of phytochemicals in oncology practice are given. The prospects for the use of phytochemicals in combination with conventional therapy methods and the possibility of their application in personalized medicine are highlighted.
