Abstract

Currently, difficulties relating to the construction of physical and synoptical models of tropical cyclogenesis are widely covered in the literature. The basic lines of investigations are the following: — synoptical statistical modeling and forecasting based on the relationships that have come to light between tropical cyclone activity and mesoscale and largescale climatic factors; — modeling that combines specialized simulation of tropical cyclone–like vortices and highly developed global climate change (GCC) models; — physical modeling and developing of TC models on the basis of thermodynamic and hydrodynamic principals and on the non-linear theory of chaos (the transition between chaos and order).
