Abstract

Background. The rationale for a particular type of non-segmented sentence - phraseologized - in a simple sentence system required its logical systematization and semantic typology. Two grammatical categories were used as the basis for the study of syntactically non-segmented sentences in linguistic studies: syntactic connectivity and syntactic indivisibility.Purpose. The purpose of this article is to streamline semantic types of phraseologized actually non-segmented sentences.Methods. The following methods have been used: to determine the semantic types of phraseologized actually non-segmented sentences, a descriptive method; to find out the reasons for the formation of phraseosyntactic meaning in phraseologized actually non-segmented sentences is a transforma-tional method.Results. Phraseologized actually non-segmented sentences are formed on the basis of a phrase-scheme, in the structure of which there are two variable and tautological components, different in morphological expression. Typical forms of expressing the tautological components are the form of the nominative case of the noun, the verb infinitive and the form of the past tense of the masculine singular verb forms. The range of lexical-semantic content of nouns and verbs is quite wide. Rarely used are phraseologized actually non-segmented sentences with pronominal, particle and exclamatory tautological components. Actually non-segmented sentences of phraseologized type have phraseosyntactic meaning; this is a generalized meaning. Phraseosyntactic meaning of phraseologized actually non-segmented sentences is characteristic of the whole structural scheme. The type of categorical meaning serves as a differential feature in the separation of semantic types of phraseologized actually non-segmented sentences. Phraseologized actually non-segmented sentences combine semantic types with categorical meanings of “affirmation” and “assessment”. Discussion. Phraseologized actually non-segmented sentences are formed on the basis of a phrase-scheme with fixed positions of obligatory variable and constant components. The meaning of phraseologized actually non-segmented sentences is the subjective-objective attitude of the speaker to objects and phenomena of reality. Their categorical meaning is «relation» as an expression of the speaker’s attitude towards the communicant, one of the participants in communication, etc. The type of categorical meaning shapes the semantics of a phraseologized actually non-segmented sentence. Their semantic types are based on two categorical meanings: affirmation and assessment. We see further research prospects in establishing derivational connectivity in die structure of phraseologized actually non-segmented sentences.Article received 17.07.2019
