PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS AND THEIR SEMANTIC FEATURES IN THE CHILDREN’S FOLKLORE GENRE

Abstract

The article shows an analysis of the semantic features of phraseological units in relation to their component composition and due to the natural dynamism of the verses of the children’s folklore genre. Phraseology is the science of phraseological units, that is, about stable combinations of words with complicated semantics that are not formed by structural-semantic models of variable messages. Phraseological units fill the gaps in the lexical system of the language, which cannot fully provide the name of the sides of reality indicated by a person, and in many cases is the only designation of objects, qualities, processes, states, situations. Phraseologism is a stable phrase in which the selection of the attributes of an object is subordinated to its integral meaning, as a result of which it functions as part of a sentence as the equivalent of a single word. The classification of phraseological units has always occupied a significant place in phraseology. This is, first of all, the systematization of large factual material with the maximum completeness of its coverage. A feature of the classification is that the non-motivation of their values is reflected in the delineation of certain types. There are several classification schemes for phraseological units, and in each of them it differs from two to four types. Separate classifications contain a large number of types and subtypes, the use of which in practice is rather difficult. Each phraseological unit is characterized by a specific set of semantic units, minimal semantic semantic components.They are the minimum units of the semantics of phraseological units and perform word-for-word and sense-forming functions. In the course of the study of phraseological units in the texts of children’s folklore “Nursery Rhymes”, we determined that among the rich arsenal of expressive means a large role belongs to phraseological units.
