Abstract

The optical and electrical properties of composite thin films based on poly(3-hexylthiophene)s (P3HTs), possessing different stereoregularity originating from side-chain regio orders, were investigated. The lasing properties of microcapillary structure with a P3HT thin film were demonstrated by pulsed photopumping. From the electrical measurement of a field-effect transistor (FET) with a P3HT composite films, the charge carrier mobility was also estimated. The emission and charge transport properties depending on the mixture ratios were discussed by taking the stereoregularity of the molecular structure into consideration.
