Abstract
Linear absorption coefficients and photoinduced changes in the absorption coefficient are experimentally determined for two doping superlattice structures. The linear values are compared with the values for a semi-insulating and an n-doped substrate of GaAs. The results for the absorption and light-induced absorption changes are qualitatively consistent with a Franz–Keldysh analysis.
