Abstract
Threshold energies E t are determined for photoelectron emission by 20 inorganic anions in aqueous solution (7.1 < E t < 9.1 eV). Calculated values of E t for Cl −, Br −, I − agree with experiment. The E t are correlated with charge-transf absorption spectra.
