Abstract

SynopsisWe present theoretical study of photoelectron emission from silver nanoparticles after laser irradiation based on the classical simulation of the electron trajectories. The individual electron trajectories were analized with and without taken into account the image force between the emitted electron and its mirror charge. We show also the calculated energy spectra in comparision with the available experimental data. We observed a significant effect of the image acceleration to the calculated electron spectra.
