Abstract
The photo-driven reduction reaction of Cr(vi) to Cr(iii) by Schiff base Cu(ii) complexes was studied in aqueous and methanol solutions. The Cr(vi) reduction ratio with the CuVDB–TiO2 system reached 91%.
