Abstract
The article considers the competence-based approach as the most significant in education, which requires today the introduction of new pedagogical technologies and methods. In this paper, we propose the application of philosophical methods in formation of skills in students of technical University in science. The authors draw attention to the methods of activity, skills, abilities and skills, to be set in studying natural Sciences. Considered are the main laws of dialectics, the method of hermeneutics, as well as empirical, heuristic methods and ways of their use in the educational process. It was shown that the use of the methods in the educational process can objectively help both the student and the teacher in the formation of a coherent scientific picture of the world. Here philosophy stands as the most common methodology, as receive theoretical and practical exploration of reality, but also a way of building a new system of knowledge, built in practical activities and which is the reflection of logic and regularities of the development of society. This only applies to methods of philosophy, who rely on natural science and specify the General principles of the study (deduction, logical methods; induction, experimental methods; experiment; reflection, introspection).
