Abstract

The article analyzes the ideas of M.M. Bakhtin and their influence on the development of modern scientific thought. The formulation “author — work — reader” remains relevant, but with the appearance of such a figure in the scientific and philosophical world as M.M. Bakhtin, the emphasis shifts towards other concepts. Scientific discoveries of M.M. Bakhtin literally “exploded” traditional ideas in the field of literary studies of cultural history, turning the philosophical view not only on literary works, but also on the entire art space. Dialog as a concept has received a new meaning: it is not only a dialog between the author and the recipient, historical space and plot, but it is also a dialog between the “hero” and the “viewer”, the polyphony of relationships between the “artist” and “heroes”, their “position”, “plots”, between “I” and “other”.
