Abstract

Abstract Phase equilibria in the quasiternary system were investigated using differential thermal, X-ray phase and microstructure analyses. Phase diagrams of four vertical sections, the isothermal section at 670 K and the liquidus surface projection on the concentration triangle were constructed. No quaternary compounds were found. The liquidus consists of four fields of primary crystallization, which belong to the three components of the system components and the ternary ZnGa 2 Se 4 compound. The nature and the temperature of the mono- and invariant processes were established.
