Abstract
The phase diagram of quasi-1D conductors in magnetic field is derived, in agreement with the available data. The field-enhanced nesting, which destabilizes a quasi-1D metal is quantized, driving a cascade of transitions between different SDW phases. A transition to a longitudinal nesting, if favored by exchange interaction, may occur in strong field.
