Abstract
This paper summarizes the pharmacological action and the application value of Paris Polyphylla, analyzes the current situation of its resource and provides a number of solutions to the resource shortage problem: introduction and domestication; variety development by selection; improvement of cultivation techniques; secondary metabolite with its endophyte; medicinal composition reproduce after fermentation; alternative medicinal composition search and so on.All these solutions above are able to mitigate the problem of Paris Polyphylla′s resource shortage.
