Abstract

We have reviewed low-orbit satellite communication system with inter-satellite paths. The issues related to packet delivery arising from failures of the satellites in the network have been identified and analyzed.

Introduction

Указаны и проработаны проблемы доставки пакета при отказах спутников в сети. Канал в направлении вызываемого абонента 4 или 5 (прямой канал) устанавливается ею через наземную сеть связи, для чего используется номер вызываемого абонента. На противоположной стороне либо абонент 4 возьмет трубку, либо наземная станция 7, обратившись к своей базе данных и найдя в ней номер вызываемого абонента, выдаст посылку вызова через спутник, проходящий 1, связь абонента сети Иридиум 1 или 5 возможна, если он и наземная станция 3 или 7 находятся в прямой видимости одного и того же спутника 2 или 6.
