Abstract
The present study deals with the creation, systematization and scientific circulation of the 72nd Fund (Dr. Ion Jarcuțchi , s Personal Fund) within the Section Archive. Restoration and pathology of documents (former Central Scientific Archive of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova). The most recent acquisition of the Section is the donation of the Jarcuțchi family, who wished to give the interested public access to the private library and the documents (manuscripts) of the historian and chronicler of science from the Republic of Moldova Ion Jarcuțchi (1948–2014). The scientific researcher also held various administrative positions: deputy to the General Secretary of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, scientific secretary of the Humanities and Arts Section, director of the Institute of History, director of the Centre for Encyclopedic Studies of the Institute of Encyclopedic Studies. Dr. Ion Jarcuțchi , s personal fund was created between September - October 2023. It consists of an inventory holding 697 storage units, divided into five parts: I. Scientific works. Self-reports; II. Journals. Reports. Yearbooks; III. Artistic and historical literature; IV. Manuscripts. Other scientific materials. V. Miscellaneous.
