Abstract A new distribution map is provided for Perkinsiella saccharicida Kirkaldy [Hemiptera: Delphacidae] Sugarcane leafhopper / planthopper. Attacks sugarcane and occasionally maize, sedges and Paspalum and is a vector of Fiji disease. Information is given on the geographical distribution in AFRICA, Comoro Islands, Madagascar, Mauritius, Réunion, South Africa, Swaziland, ASIA, China, Hongkong, India, Indonesia, Java, Malaysia, Malaya, Sarawak, Philippines, Ryukyu Islands, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, AUSTRALASIA, and PACIFIC ISLANDS, Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, Hawaii, Papua New Guinea, NORTH AMERICA, USA, Florida, SOUTH AMERICA, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru.
