Abstract
Electroencephalographic (EEG) abnormalities and inflammation have been independently associated with schizophrenia spectrum disorders. Pre-clinical studies have linked inflammation with event-related potentials (ERP), but studies examining time-frequency relationships, which capture complex neural dynamics, are limited. Here, we aim to investigate the role of peripheral inflammation with ERP and time-frequency measures in idiopathic psychosis.
