Abstract
Summary A miscible CO2 flood was initiated in the Rangely Weber Sand Unit (RWSU) in Colorado in Oct. 1986. The project calls for injection of a 30% slug of CO2 at a 1:1 water-alternating-gas (WAG) ratio. Ultimate incremental recovery is estimated to be 114 million STB. Current incremental recovery accounts for 34.5% of production.
