Abstract

Synthesis of polysulfones from individual α-olefins was investigated. The correlation between the specific electrical conductivity of diesel fuels (DF) and the structure of the initial alkene was identified. The antistatic properties of the synthesized polymers were investigated as a function of the polymer molecular weight and of the dispersant content. The low-temperature properties of DFs that contained a polysulfone as a component of an ashless antistatic additive were further determined.
