Abstract
The performance of a nuclear reaction product mass spectrometer is discussed. The observed mass resolution is MΔ M ≅ 740 at 2 msr solid angle for evaporation residues with a very broad (> 19%) energy distribution. The spectrometer operates at zero degrees with primary beam rejection efficiency ≳ 1 : 1013.
